Patrick W. Shovlin III, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Shovlin is a board-certified surgeon practicing in Flower Mound, TX. He graduated from Lewisville High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. After teaching in the Lewisville Independent School District for 4 years, Dr. Shovlin matriculated at Texas Tech School of Medicine for his medical degree. He is a member of the AOA, the medical honor society.
After graduation in 1993, he received his surgical training at Texas Tech in Lubbock, TX, finishing in 1998. He lives in Highland Village with his wife and has three children. He has been in private practice in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area since 1998. His scope of practice includes general surgery, colorectal surgery, oncologic surgery, skin and skin structure surgery, laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, and robotic surgery.
Dr. Shovlin is a foremost robotic laparoscopic surgeon in Flower Mound, TX. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery, Fellow American College of Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, and the Denton County Medical Society.
